I began working in health and social care at 18 as a student nurse, specialising in paediatrics. I then took a change in career and began working with adults with learning and physical disabilities. I started working for Liase in 2009 as a support worker. I became Deputy Manager of Lulworth in 2013 and progressed to Manager at Blake in 2014. In 2016 I became the Registered Manager for Blake and Lulworth where I remained very happily until my maternity leave. I have always been incredibly passionate about enabling the individuals we support to experience as many opportunities as possible that will enrich and fulfil their lives. I maintain a keen interest in supporting individuals with complex health and finding new and innovative ways to motivate and drive staff to deliver high quality care holistically, with the individual at the centre of all we do.

I joined the company in March 2013 and over the years became a Registered Manager of Sansa House, Glebelands and Karibu Place, and an Area Manager in June 2017. I pride myself in managing the team in Sansa House that achieved an overall ‘Outstanding’ rating from CQC inspection in 2017 and again in 2020. I am a PROACT-SCIPr-UK® Instructor, ‘Mental Health First Aider’ and Autism Ambassador for Liaise.

I have worked in social care for over 30 years. I Commenced my work in social care as a support worker then a registered manager, becoming a Regional manager and have been in this role since 2011. Initially I trained as support worker completely my NVQ qualifications and was one of the first tranche of trainees gaining my Registered Managers award. I joined Liaise December 2020. I was attracted to work for Liaise because of their commitment in supporting people with Learning disabilities and Autism, ensuring their place in society is a present and active one. I ensure all homes in Liaise Basingstoke are supported and meeting all required CQC standards. I really enjoy seeing the people we support and the great staff teams who give their all every day. Outside of work, I like to spend time with my son and family; attend to my garden and growing vegetables. I also enjoy doing lots of walking particularly in the quieter places near where I live.

Erika joined the social care sector 15 years ago and has progressed her career in operations at a regional and national level, supporting vulnerable adults with dementia and adults with learning disabilities and complex behaviour. Erika has worked as a director with senior teams and executives, writing strategy and bringing about effective and meaningful change in the social care sector. Erika feels passionate about delivering services that are safe, effective, and person-centred, driven by the needs and aspirations of the people we serve. By taking the exciting step of launching the Liaise brand we have started the important process of building a strong employer brand. I have a vision to evolve Liaise to become market leader, an exemplar and business of choice in our sector. I am seeing this as exciting journey, full of hope, opportunity, and growth.

I have many years of experience within different care settings. I started my career as a qualified nurse working in many disciplines from Special Care Baby Unit to Elderly End of Life Care, and every age group in between. I have even been in the army (Queen Alexandria's Royal Army Nursing Corp), although I don't think I was a very good soldier as I don't particularly like being told what to do!! I had a break to bring up my children, and on returning, I worked for an agency who sent me to a local hospital for Adults with a Learning Disability who were in crisis. That was the start of working with this group of people for the last 25+ years. I have worked from Support Worker, working my way 'up the ladder' to Registered Manager and now Regional General Manager, where I oversee, guide and support 8 Residential Care Homes to maintain the best quality of care and support possible. I firmly believe in the rights of the individuals we support to be as individual as they can possibly be. Giving opportunities to develop and supporting and recognising each individual as a person in their own right. The individuals are at the centre of everything I strive to do. 25 years is a long time, but my enthusiasm and dedication to my chosen field of care has never diminished. I am as devoted and passionate about supporting the rights of individuals today as I was all those years ago.

I am the Operations Manager for Liaise London residential. I have worked within adult health and social care for 28 years supporting adults with LD/ASD and associated complex needs. I began working in a residential home as a care assistant and have since worked in several roles predominantly supporting people with behaviours of concern. I am also qualified to teach and train and spent a number of years teaching and training in behaviour support working nationally with a variety of different providers. I have been both a registered manager and nominated individual.

On a personal note I am married and have 3 grown up children and have just become a grandfather for the first time, I enjoy all sports and trying to keep fit and active. I have been extremely privileged to have been able to spend such time doing what I do and am focused in improving the lives of the people we support.

I joined Liaise in July 2020 which was my first move into the social care sector. I started to train as a chartered accountant 16 years ago working in all areas of Finance initially auditing in practice, then to work at a FTSE 100 where I had the opportunity to travel abroad to other offices around the world and, more recently, private equity backed businesses. Since joining Liaise I was heavily involved in the sale of the business to our new shareholders, Intriva, and as a member of the Executive Team have played a part in all key decision making. I wanted to join Liaise because I think what the business offers is something so important and I wanted to be proud of who I worked for. Outside of work, I like the simple things! Walks and bike rides, seeing my family and friends, and seeing new places.

I began working for Liaise in 2015. I have worked in social care for 33 years in both children’s and adult services. I have training and experience working with both adults and children who have Learning and Mental Health needs and Autism, EBD, Deafblind, physical support needs and severe challenging behaviour. My roles have included Registered Manager, Area and Operational Senior Management Roles and Executive Chair of a County Care Association. I have extensive training in behaviour management through the IABA and qualified as a non-crisis intervention trainer. Other qualifications held include Advanced DMS (level 7), NVQ level 4 in Care and Registered Managers Award Level 4. I find it very helpful to be able to draw upon my broad operational and management experience within my role for Liaise.

Prior to working at Liaise I worked in various management roles for Tesco’s before becoming a HR Manager there for 5 years. I joined in 2015 as a HR Advisor before being promoted to HR Manager. I am CIPD qualified.

I have been working for Liaise for over 12 years and so have a fantastic knowledge of the organisation. I really enjoy my job and being at the forefront of supporting both staff and individuals using our services brings me a lot of satisfaction. I have a very good relationship with the staff at all of our services and know they trust me to keep things running smoothly.

I am the Lead for the Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) team and joined in April 2020. I studied to become a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) and have since worked in inpatient and community settings to support adults to improve their quality of life, build new skills and reduce behaviours of concern. My approach to implementing PBS in our services involves a hands on, practical application to ensure consistent implementation and achieving measurable outcomes.

We support the service users to maintain, regain and develop their functional level despite difficulties that they may face.
