Lucas house is a supported living service, comprising of three individual apartments and an additional shared kitchen and lounge, plus a large garden. The home has been completely furbished and offers a specialist setting for people with complex learning and autistic needs. Lucas House is situated in a quiet road, approximately 15 minutes’ walk from High Wycombe town centre and all transport links.
People living in High Wycombe enjoy mixture of urban and rural leisure, educational and social settings. Transport links offer easy access to London and neighbouring towns.
People living at Lucas House will benefit from support underpinned by a robust and enabling Positive Behaviour Support framework, provided by a well trained staff team and managed by a skilled and experienced home manager.
Liaise Supported Living
Supported Living at Lucas House means working in partnership with the people we support, their families, friends, social workers, and other professionals to create highly individualised, life-enhancing and thoughtfully presented plans for every person. An enabling approach results in the people we support have opportunities to develop rewarding relationships, learning independent living skills and meaningfully connecting with the community around them.
Arrange a viewing
We welcome enquiries about Lucas House, and we look forward to hearing from you. We would be delighted to arrange times for viewings where you can see the home and meet the home manager.
I have a decade of experience in the health and social care sector, working in a variety of settings – from Domiciliary Care, Adolescent Activity Support, to Supported Living (Forensic, Complex and Challenging behaviour) and Live-in Care.
I was a top performing manager 2019 in my previous role, achieving some amazing outcomes; from developing peoples’ social skills to enabling them to live independently in the community.
I would describe my management and leadership style as transformational, compassionate, driven, co-production and person-centred; I pride myself on being an advocate for the people I work with, to ensure they receive the best quality of care and support.
