Pancake Day certainly didn’t fall flat at our residential service Park House and our supported living service Meridian Mews. Everyone was getting into the spirit of Shrove Tuesday!
Service users enjoyed some pancake flipping fun on Shrove Tuesday and spent the afternoon cooking some delicious pancakes by following the step-to-step recipe, which is a Makaton sign and symbol resource provided by our Speech and Language Therapist helping to support service users communication aid.
Service users flipped their way through, making some for others and they all tucked into some tasty pancakes with some traditional tasty toppings of lemon, sugar, golden syrup and some fruit.
After all, they had built up quite an appetite during their cooking activity!
