At Christmas, Oakdene House residential home in Kent was approached by a Charity called Lennox Children Cancer Fund and asked if they could help support them. We decided to try a fun 50:50 competition that gave people a chance to win a cash prize while raising money for a good cause.
We all took part by writing our names in a numbered square on the game card and then donating £2 per each go. Once all the squares had been filled, we revealed the winner by peeling the sticker off the corner of the game card. The lucky person whose number was picked won a prize of £30 and the remaining money was donated to The Lennox Children Cancer Charity.
We are pleased to say we raised £35.10 towards this good cause.
