I have worked my entire career in adult social services, starting out in local government in the Northeast of England.
Since then, I have developed in my career working in large national organisations in various roles from Operations Management to Business Development.
My expertise is in learning disabilities and supporting individuals who may display behaviours that can be challenging. My focus is on a holistic approach to care and support, fully embedding a person-centred proactive way of working.
I take a real passion for an outcomes-based model of support to enable the people we support to reach their goals; as their goals are our goals.
I have various qualifications in Management, Health and Social Care and Positive Behaviour Support, including the teaching of Positive Behaviour Support.
