Park House CQC Good Rating – Residential Home in London Rated Good by CQC

Park House, our Residential Home in London, Celebrates CQC ‘Good’ Rating in Recent Inspection

We’re proud to share that Park House has achieved a ‘Good’ rating in its recent Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspection. This recognition reflects our commitment to delivering safe, effective, and person-led care in a warm and welcoming home environment.

Inspectors highlighted our strong safeguarding culture and effective risk management practices that protect people without unnecessary restrictions. They also noted how health access and outcomes are carefully recorded, ensuring everyone receives the right support at the right time.

A Respectful and Person-Led Home Environment

The atmosphere at Park House was praised for being respectful and friendly. People we support living at Park House enjoy positive relationships with staff, and care is tailored to individual mood, ability, and preferences. In addition, communication support, including Makaton and visual aids, ensures everyone can express themselves and feel understood.

Behind the scenes, our structured approach – supported by dedicated teams in Quality, IT, Learning & Development, and HR – keeps everything running smoothly. Inspectors commended the clear communication through email and Teams, proactive involvement from our Support Office, and our responsive Maintenance team, all of which contribute to a well-managed home.

Strong Leadership and Collaborative Working

Leadership was another area of strength. The inspection noted how our Registered Manager, Ruggero Platania, and the leadership team embrace openness and collaboration, working closely with safeguarding partners, local authorities, and funding bodies. This transparent approach builds trust and ensures the best outcomes for the people we support.

Staff confidence and consistency were also noted. The inspection found that staff could clearly explain care decisions and that records matched practice, while the open and honest team culture creates a supportive environment where staff feel valued and motivated.

Robust Governance and High Standards of Care

Governance was described as robust, with staff understanding how to protect people from harm and deliver individualised, person-led care. Support is planned and reviewed in partnership with people, their families, and healthcare professionals, ensuring choice and control remain central to daily life.

People enjoy communal spaces, quiet time, and activities both in-house and in the community. Access to healthcare is seamless, and communication methods are adapted to individual needs. Training, induction, supervision, and annual appraisals ensure staff are equipped and supported to provide the highest standard of care.

We remain committed to providing homes and support where individuals can achieve their goals and live life on their own terms. You can read the full report here: Park House – Care Quality Commission
