Transition to Liaise: Harry’s Move to Totteridge House

We’re delighted to share Harry’s experience of transition to Liaise, as he embraced a meaningful new chapter in his life at Totteridge House. This story highlights how thoughtful planning, encouragement, and personalised support can help someone settle into a new home with confidence and excitement.

A Confident Start in a New Home

When Harry arrived at Totteridge House, he was ready for a fresh start. The supportive environment and welcoming team helped him quickly feel at ease. From the very beginning, Harry’s goals and preferences were listened to, ensuring his new home matched not just his needs, but his personality too.

This solid start laid the foundation for a smooth transition to Liaise, built on trust, choice, and encouragement.

Embracing Routines and Day-to-Day Life

Once settled, Harry began to explore his new routines. He took part in household activities, found comfort in familiar favourite pastimes, and started building new habits with confidence. Totteridge House became more than a place to live — it became a home where Harry felt seen and supported.

His willingness to try new things, from helping with meals to participating in group activities, reflected his growing independence and natural curiosity.
