Planning for a Pet
“I wanted to have a pet in my annexe at Willow Tree Lodge. I spoke with Bridget, the manager, and we came up with the idea of having a fish,” Selina shared.
During her Easter stay, Selina visited the Aquatics shop in Woking with her mum. The shop assistant advised her that Guppy Fish were good choices because some other fish can be aggressive. After Easter, she and the staff went to the Aquatics store in Basingstoke to pick out ornaments and plants for her tank.
Creating the Perfect Home for Her Fish
Selina chose a magical castle and a bridge ornament for her tank. Her mum bought the fish tank online from the Aquatics shop. A week later, Selina added gravel, ornaments, plants, and water with help from staff member Fred, who has expertise in fish tanks. The tank was left for a week to settle before the fish were introduced.
Welcoming Her Fish
Finally, Selina purchased seven male Guppies from the Aquatics shop in Basingstoke and some fish food. “I really like my fish tank because I have a remote control to change the colour of the lighting. I really love my seven fish,” Selina said.
Having her fish brings her calm and happiness every day.
