Liaise shortlisted for Specialist Care Provider of the Year at the National Care Awards 2026

Liaise has been shortlisted for Specialist Care Provider of the Year (Large Group) at the National Care Awards 2026.

While being recognised nationally is a fantastic achievement, what makes us most proud is what the nomination represents: the people we support and everything they achieve every day.

Across both residential care and supported living services, we support adults with learning disabilities and autistic people to live lives that are meaningful to them. Every person has their own goals, ambitions and version of success, and it’s a privilege to be part of those journeys.

Over the past year, we’ve seen people move into their own homes for the first time, develop greater independence, build confidence, strengthen relationships, learn new skills and become more involved in their local communities. These achievements may look different for each person, but each one represents progress, determination and the opportunity to live life on their own terms.

We know that meaningful progress doesn’t happen by chance. It comes from taking the time to understand each person as an individual and building support around what matters most to them. Our teams are supported by specialist in-house Positive Behaviour Support and Speech and Language Therapy services, helping people to communicate, develop skills, improve wellbeing and achieve their goals.

This year has also been one of growth. Working closely with commissioners, families and professionals, we opened new homes and created additional places to meet increasing demand for high-quality specialist support. Every new service is developed around the people who will live there, helping to ensure homes, support and opportunities are right from the very beginning.

Co-production remains at the centre of our approach. Through our Influencers Network, people with lived experience play an active role in influencing decisions, shaping services and helping us continuously improve. Their insights challenge us to think differently and keep us focused on what really matters.

Being shortlisted is also recognition of our amazing colleagues, whose compassion, expertise and commitment make a difference every day. Through the Liaise Academy, colleagues have access to apprenticeships, accredited qualifications, specialist learning and leadership development opportunities, helping them build the skills needed to deliver exceptional support.

While we’re honoured to be shortlisted, the greatest achievement will always be the progress, independence and quality of life of the people we support.

Thank you to our colleagues, families, professionals, commissioners and community partners who help make those achievements possible every day.
