Timaru
Charles is a person we support from Timaru.
Charles wanted to share something he likes to do regularly and was able to do on his birthday at the end of the Learning Disability Week. He, alongside his support worker, went to his favourite zoo, Marwell Zoo, near Colden Common in Hampshire. There, his excitement began again as he took his camera and snapped shots of his favourite animals and together with his support worker.
Sam, another person we support from Timaru, prefers a hobby he can do at home. Sam likes to get his hands green and dirty by looking after the gardening aspects of the home.
