Working With Local Authorities

Here at Liaise, We Have Had Extensive Experience Working in Partnership With Local Authorities

We recognise the financial pressures that local authorities face and the stringent processes they adopt in order to ensure the best value for the people they support.

The adult care sector is currently facing many challenges. These challenges can often be attributed to the rise in demand for care and support services which are increasing pressure on the limited resources of local authorities. Our aim is to work closely with local authorities to ensure every individual receives the support services they need to lead their best lives.

We Provide Specialist Support for People With Complex and Varied Needs Including Autism, Learning Disabilities, a Range of Physical Support Requirements and Mental Health Needs.

Our goal is to provide caring and enriching environments where the people we support can learn new skills, positively engage with their communities and lead happy purposeful lives.

Our therapeutic framework is supported by our Occupational Therapy, Positive Behaviour Support and Speech & Language Therapy teams. The positive approaches followed by these teams help to provide a robust and enabling support pathway. This developmental environment provides individuals with the person-centred support they need while reducing their reliance on staff support, helping them become more independent and, in turn, reducing the costs of each person’s placement.

All Our Homes Provide Support Measured Against the ‘quality of Life’ Framework.

Each person is encouraged to have maximum participation and control over all decisions in their life. Their goals are our goals. They are also supported in adjusting their environment to reflect their needs and wishes. Bespoke designs and facilities are developed and tailored to each individual. Our detailed assessment and transition processes ensure each of our accommodations is appropriately adapted to enable each person to move successfully to their new home.

We appreciate that local authorities exist to look after the interests of their designated people and find cost-effective solutions that improve lives. We are familiar with Care Cubed and other financial tools used by local authorities to benchmark the cost of placements. By working closely with local authorities, we are able to reach mutually beneficial agreements that allow each individual to move successfully into their new home and start their journey towards greater independence.

“Thank you for all the work you do to keep all the residents healthy and happy.”
