The blog below is a personal account from Tina, one of our Liaise Influencers from the East Anglia region, as she shares her unforgettable trip to see Blue at The Rolling Circus in Norwich.

I was so excited to see Blue at The Rock & Roll Circus event in Norwich! With a little help from staff, I booked my taxi myself and even phoned in July to double-check the booking. Everything seemed fine.

But on the big day, the taxi never turned up. I called the company, Elm, but no one answered. I felt frustrated, but after discussing it with the staff, I decided not to let it stop me. I chose to take the bus instead.

After getting ready, I walked to the bus stop on my own and caught the bus to Norwich. From there, I found the right stop and caught another bus that took me to the concert. I managed it all independently, and I was really proud of myself.

When I arrived, I met up with my friend. We had coffee and drinks, spent time looking around, and enjoyed listening to the bands. My phone battery died before I reached the concert, so I couldn’t take as many photos as I wanted, but we took some on my friend’s phone instead. I still danced all night and had the best time. After the concert, my friend gave me a lift home.

It turned out to be one of the best days I’ve ever had. Even though I was let down by the taxi, I didn’t let it ruin my time out. I’m really proud that I found another way and still had an amazing experience.
